Saturday Session: Leg Day with Jeff

    YOUR SATURDAY MORNING GAME PLAN

Start the weekend with a session worth showing up for.

Before the errands, the plans, and everything else the weekend brings, carve out some time for yourself. A Saturday workout does not have to be complicated. Arrive with a plan, work at your level, and leave with the rest of the day still ahead of you.

Here is Jeff’s leg workout: six movements covering quads, hamstrings, and calves, followed by an incline treadmill finish. Save the plan for your next Saturday session—and make it your own.

Before you start: This is Jeff’s personal, high-volume session, not a requirement for every lifter. The plan includes 24 working sets. Scale the sets and load to your experience and recovery, warm up first, use controlled reps, and stop if you feel sharp pain.

    Jeff’s training-day setup

30 minutes before training: 1 scoop of Pump + Focus.

During training: Jeff’s personal routine is 2 scoops of EAA/Electrolytes.

Serving note: The EAA product page directs 1 scoop before, during, or after training. Jeff’s two-scoop routine is not a general recommendation. Follow your product’s label and do not exceed its directions.

The workout: quads, hamstrings, and calves

    Exercise Sets × reps
    Leg extensions 4 × 12–15
    Pendulum leg press 4 × 8–12
    Reverse V squat 4 × 8–12
    Seated leg curls 4 × 8–12
    Dumbbell RDLs 4 × 8–12
    Seated calf presses 4 × 8–12

No pendulum machine? Make the swap.

Use a 45-degree leg press for the same 4 sets of 8–12 reps. It is a practical alternative, not an identical movement. Choose a load that suits that machine and lets you control each rep. Do not try to match the plate count from a different machine.

The finish: 30 minutes on the treadmill

    Jeff’s settings: incline 5.0 · speed 3.0.

Check your treadmill’s units and adjust the settings to your fitness level. Finish at a pace you can manage with control—this is not a contest to copy someone else’s display.

    Keep your intra-workout routine simple

Have your water ready before the first set. If EAA/Electrolytes is part of your routine, prepare it according to the label. Keep the focus on your session: deliberate reps, manageable loads, and a routine you can repeat.
